Job Overview
The Precast Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production, resource management, quality control, and customer service at a precast concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the precast concrete industry, with strong leadership and management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the factory strategic plan. To ensure continuous improvement in all factory-related departments.
- Supervise and manage production department, to meet production standards daily and act as a liaison between supervisors and upper management. Manage any and all production standards, constraints and delays.
- Supervise and manage quality department, to meet quality standards daily and act as a liaison between supervisors and upper management.
- Supervise and manage stores department, to ensure proper material resource planning.
- Ensure all platforms receive required problem-solving solutions and labor, maintenance staff, concrete, consumables, rebar and other miscellaneous resources to maintain quality standards and schedule for all production processes.
- Identify the need for corrective actions when quality or production or safety standards are not met. Take corrective actions accordingly to meet standards.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of factory personnel, as well as performance management and employee relations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring that customer needs are met, and resolving any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or master’s in civil engineering
- 6+ years of experience in a managerial role
- Must have experience of Precast manufacturing
- Should have great team management and inter personal skills
